Springlok* Coiled Type Knob Clips
KCC Coiled type Knob Clips provide the designer with an easy method of location and retention of plastic knobs to shafts. The design is such that the coil maintains spring pressure on the shaft at all times and will therefore take up any slight variations in the shaft tolerances.
HSL in line with all other manufacturers of spring steel clips refuses to accept liability for any premature failure of any spring steel part it supplies that has been specified by the customer with an Electro-Plated Finish, due to uncertainty regarding the incidence of, identification of, control of and removal of Hydrogen Embrittlement. Despite accurate processing controls, baking cannot be relied upon to guarantee removal of Hydrogen. We strongly recommend alternative finishes be specified.
