Springlok* Spring Steel Edge Clips Cable Retention
CEC Cable Edge Clips are robust swiftly located edge clips providing routing for cables close to the edge of panels securely clamping cables and preventing rubbing or cutting of the cable by the sheet. These clips can also be used for pipes and the fact that the pipe or cables can be removed without removal of the clip makes them very useful where service is required. These parts are supplied in black phosphate finish.
HSL, in line with all other manufacturers of spring steel clips, refuses to accept liability for any premature failure of any spring steel part it supplies that has been specified with an Electro-Plated Finish by the customer, due to uncertainty regarding the incidence of, identification of, control of and removal of Hydrogen Embrittlement. Despite accurate processing controls, baking cannot be relied upon to guarantee removal of Hydrogen. We strongly recommend alternative finishes be specified.
