POFR Push on Fixes Round allow the designer to not only provide a very fast lightweight method of securing the location of a shaft or the location of a component upon a shaft. Also if the surrounding space is limited these round versions take up far less space than the rectangular version.
HSL in line with all other manufacturers of spring steel clips refuses to accept liability for any premature failure of any spring steel part it supplies with an Electro-Plated Finish that has been specified by the customer. This is due to uncertainty regarding the incidence of, identification of, control of and removal of Hydrogen Embrittlement. Despite accurate processing controls, baking cannot be relied upon to guarantee removal of Hydrogen. We strongly recommend alternative finishes be specified.
