Springlok* Round Dished Spring Steel Push on Fix

The POFD Dished type Push on Fix provides the same simple method of securing components to shafts, or shaft location within assemblies, as other round push on fixes. However the dish effect makes them more rigid than other round flat types. The round shape enables them to be used in confined spaces, the biggest advantage being that they are designed to accept a mating cap which will cover the end of the clip and the shaft making the assembly more pleasing to the eye. Various styles of caps are available to suit each clip.
HSL in line with all other manufacturers of spring steel clips refuses to accept liability for any premature failure of any spring steel part it supplies with an Electro-Plated Finish that has been specified by the customer, due to uncertainty regarding the incidence of, identification of, control of and removal of Hydrogen Embrittlement. Despite accurate processing controls, baking cannot be relied upon to guarantee removal of Hydrogen. We strongly recommend alternative finishes be specified.
