'Substitute the gauge size or sheet thickness for the first?? In the part no. followed by the length for the second ??. and the finish code for the ?? following the part no. The finish codes are ''00'' for self colour, ''40'' for ZY, ''60'' for ZC and SS for Stainless Steel. MSOF Miniature round Rivet Bush Stand-offs are very useful in confined spaces. They space components away from the sheet in order to meet other components and various other uses can be identified all of which provide assistance in assembly therefore reducing production costs. They have a serrated shoulder to provide hi torque resistance, superior to serrated spigot rivet bushes as the serrations are radial from the spigot to the outer diameter of the body therefore gripping on a greater surface area than the serrated spigot type. They are not quite so critical on hole dimensions as the serrated spigot type that need close tolerance holes in order to bury their serrations into the wall of the hole. The serrations on the serrated spigot type usually have to be finer than those of the serrated shoulder type due to the splitting problem experienced when pieneing over the serrated spigot. Even when they are successfully piened over there is a tendency to flatten the serrations rather than to penetrate the surface of the sheet. The foregoing illustrates that the serrated shoulder bushes with their coarser knurl and larger surface area contact are superior performance products.
