TRB Inserts for Wood resist any movement or rotation because of the unique shape and configuration of the knurl formation, even when a very high tightening torque is applied. They absorb stress and evenly distribute loads ensuring a solid and permanent mounting with secure permanent threads in all wood products, and offer very precise location for higher quality applications. TRB inserts are made of brass and can be zinc or nickel plated. For best results, the screw length should be longer or at least the same length as the insert. For large volumes, the Automatic Mounting Machine 2000 is available for small volumes, Manual Tooling which allows better centring of the Woodspan while a slight tap of a hammer on the tool handle places the insert.
