Thermocert* Heatstake Insert for Thermoplastic
|
HL Heatcert Series are designed to provide permanent, reusable, strong thread forms in Engineering grades of Thermoplastic where the dimensional stability of other material often results in stress fracture as a consequence of installation of screws or inserts with sharp profiles. The opposing 'c' contour of the knurl presents a smooth contact with the material whilst facilitating the flow of plastic into the central recess and therefore providing resistance to high pullout loads and torque resistance without creating material stresses. The fact that this insert is symmetrical provides further advantages in speed of orientation whether for hand location, semi automation or fully automated applications.
